(I wanted to ask this on the Facebook page but it isn’t working on my phone at the moment, so I may crosspost later :P)
Is there any particular reason you gais seem to go harder with the acids and tret? My Curology derm told me I could use everything, including my moisturizer before I use it and it would still work fine. I usually do all of my lighter skincare like essences and serums, and my sheet masks as needed, and let that all sink in to at least be tacky to dry before I put on my script. Then I put on moisturizer on top of that. And I only use it every other day at most. My script is still pretty low (0.009% I think), and I feel like I’d rather take it more slowly and maintain good skin instead of rushing hard and having lots of peeling, etc.
What are your thoughts on this, and have you ever tried tret over heavy moisturizers or over at least thinner hydrating layers, and if so, what was it like?
